As an Eagle Scout and black belt in karate, Mr. Taylor C. Hartley, esq., served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Seoul, South Korea. He later earned his bachelor's degree in psychology in less than two academic years after studying at Ricks College, the BYU Jerusalem Center for Near Eastern Studies, and Brigham young University.

Mr. Hartley earned a Juris Doctor degree at California Western School of Law in San Diego where he had one of the best scholarships the school offers. Shortly after finishing law school, he married Jamie and moved home to Utah. With only self-study as preparation, Mr. Hartley took and passed the Utah Bar exam. While working as an associate attorney at a family law firm, he formed his own criminal defense practice.

For Taylor, work is more of a service than a business. He is in the initial stages of preparing a pre-law academy that will help people decide whether they want to pursue a legal career and help interested individuals both succeed in law school and gain a greater capacity to serve their communities effectively as well-trained and ethical lawyers.
Most people condemn guilty criminals. But attorney Taylor Hartley defends them. Using scriptures, testimony, and real-life examples, Hartley explains how all followers of Christ have a moral obligation to help sinners become whole. Expect to be enlightened and your views challenged as you journey through this book's insightful perspectives and find in-depth answers to issues that have perplexed people of all ages in every culture.
